Biological Environment Low intertidal: Galeolaria tubes, barnacles and limpets; some blue-green algae; very little macroalgae with small patches of Corallina closer to the cove entrance; diverse assemblage of algae occur on the surrounding rocks at the entrance to the cove (e.g. Corallina, Amphiroa, Ecklonia, Sargassum, Cystophora, Laurencia, Gelidium and Pterocladia – see photo). |
